Core commitments

ReJEWenate should collect only information needed to provide membership, Shabbat matching, directory and support services.

Location

Precise host addresses and guest coordinates must not appear publicly. A host address is released only after an approved host accepts a guest request.

Accounts

Passwords are handled through Supabase Authentication. The public website must never contain the Supabase service-role secret.

Deletion

Members should be able to request deletion, subject to safeguarding and legal retention obligations.

Synagogue information from OpenStreetMap is community-supplied and may be incomplete or outdated.
